Protein assay Kit

Description
The Favorgen protein assay kit, based on the Bradford dye-binding method ( Bradford 1976), is a simple colorimetric assay for measuring concentration of solubilized protein. The kit depends on an acidic dye, binding with protein measured at 595nm by a spectrophotometer or microplate reader. Comparison to a standard curve provides quantitation of unknown protein concentration.

Applications
¡¹ Reagents Compatible
¡¹ Quantitates Most Proteins
¡¹ Easy to adapt the assay from the standard-concentration range to a low-concentration

Additional Mateiral Required
•  Spectrophotometer or microplate reader set to 595nm
•  Cuvettes or microplate

Method and linear range
I. Standard procedure

II. Microassay procedure

linear and working range

Method I.
linear range (BSA) ¡G 100 £g g/ml - 1000 £g g/ml

Method II.
linear range (BSA)¡G1£gg/ml - 20£gg/ml

Method III.
linear range (BSA)¡G40£gg/ml - 500£gg/ml

Method IV.
linear range (BSA)¡G1£gg/ml - 20£gg/mll

Compare With B brand by Method II

Usage Note
¡¹ If your sample protein concentration is relative higher concentration between 100 £gg/ml and 1 mg/ml, then the Method 1 is suggested.
¡¹ If your sample protein concentration is between 1 £gg/ml and 20 £gg/ml, then the Method 2 or 4 can be used.
¡¹ If your sample protein concentration is between 40£gg/ml-500£gg/ml, then Method 3 is suggested.
