Description
The Viral Nucleic Acid Extraction Kit is designed for purification of total RNA or DNA from cell-free samples, such as plasma, serum, urine, cell-culture, supernatant, or cell-free body fluid . Extracted DNA can be used directly for PCR amplification, RNA for RT-PCR amplification.

Procedure

The method uses detergents and a chaotropic salt to lyse virus, then the nucleic acid in chaotropic salt is bounded to the glass fiber matrix of column. After washing off the contaimants, the purified nucleic acid is eluted by RNase free water. The prepared nucleic acids are suitable for applications including real-time PCR/RT-PCR, automated fluorescent DNA sequencing, PCR and many other enzymatic reation.

Storage Conditions
FavorPrep™ Viral Nucleic Acid Extraction Kit can be stored at room temperature (15-25 ℃ ). Stable for 1 year at room temperature at 15-25℃.
