Description
The 96-Well GEL/PCR Clean Up Kits provide a high-throughput, rapid and economical method to purify fragmented DNA. DNA Binding wash and elution steps could be do on vacuum manifold or by centrifugation. The entire procedure can be completed in 20minutes and the eluted DNA is ready to use in restriction digestions, ligation, PCR and sequencing reactions.

Procedure
The method utilizes a chaotrophic salt to dissolve agarose gel and denature enzymes. The DNA is absorbed to the fibre matrix in each well of the plate. Following washing of contaminants, the purified DNA is eluted by low salt buffer or water. Salts, enzymes and unincorporated nucleotides are effectively removed from reactions mixtures without toxi phenol extraction and alcohol precipitation. Typical recoveries equal 60-80% for gel extraction and 80-90% for PCR cleanup.
